Collaborations April 2008 Update
New Jersey Early Intervention Week Contest     
May 18-24, 2008
Governor Corzine, along  with the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New       
Jersey have designated the week to commemorate Early Intervention and to recognize
that all children have special and unique gifts that deserve the care and attention of
their families and communities.  The State recognizes how NJEIS plays an essential role
in supporting families to ensure that all infants and toddlers have the opportunity to          
develop, grow, and ultimately, lead productive lives in the community.
In that spirit, families and caregivers are asked to compose an essay outlining            
“What Early Intervention Has Meant to My Family”  The essay guidelines are detailed at

The next meeting of the Family Connections Support Group will meet April 10, 2008 at the JCC on
the Palisades in Tenafly from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.  It is FREE and open to all families with young
