New Beginnings in Fairfield is sponsoring a seminar on
April 27th and 28th for families of children diagnosed
with autism spectrum disorders, therapists working with
special needs children and their families, educators,
early interventionists, case managers, and others who
provide care to children with autism. NJ Professional
Development hours provided for Teachers, Social
Workers, School Psychologists, CST Liaisons and
other professional attendees. Child Care is available.

A Web site designed to provide Spanish-speaking
families with greater access to information about New
Jersey's education system and the various state
resources that are available has been launched by the
Department of Education:

Toys R Us and the Toys R Us Children's
Fund will kick off a nationwide fundraising
campaign to benefit Autism Speaks, the
world's leading organization devoted to
autism awareness, advocacy and research.
From March 18 through May 4, all 586 Toys
R Us stores across the country will accept
cash donations to support Autism Speaks in
its efforts to help solve the puzzle of autism.
